Coming through!

After a landslide win by the Liberal Party at March 2nd election Paul Keating stepped down as Labor leader on the 11th March. Bill Kelty was ACTU leader. His leadership and aspirations for the union movement often under contention by members themselves. At the time there was concern that union demands were having a detrimental effect on Australia's export trade.
