The road to funding!

Funds had to be found! Victorian Premier Jeff Kennett, had announced in May the plans for the CityLink Road Project for the City of Melbourne. Transurban was eventually selected to design, construct, own and operate the system. Users pay a toll through the ETAG system. Steve Bracks set in place a similar user-pays system to set up the EastLink System later.
