Erm..., I've changed my mind!

The newly elected Premier of Victoria Liberal Leader Jeff Kennett and his Treasurer Alan Stockdale had inherited the economy of Victoria which was in a very shaky condition. Many major businesses including the Government owned State Bank had collapsed. Former Labor Premier Joan Kirner had taken her position as Opposition Leader.
