The "enemy" is at the gates!

A COAG meeting was held when the economic downturn was causing stress to all states of Australia. The Federal Government led by Bob Hawke was under siege as the states wanted a greater share of the financial pie. The Premiers, including Joan Kirner from Victoria were determined to get an outcome.
