The risk of relying on hot air.

As Australia experiences its 4th hot air balloon accident in two months, with 2 people being killed after a hot air balloon collided with power lines in Cessnock, concerns about train brakes, and rail safety, on the Melbourne train network are also expressed after a train collides with the back of another one at Ringwood Station, injuring eight people.

The failure of the train to stop was eventually blamed on driver error, the draft report being released on the same day as a similar crash at Syndal on November 20, when another train inexplicably failed to stop, with emergency brakes applied, and injured 37 people.
