There are no exceptions...

With crises in the Middle East and in Poland in 1980 Christmas was not as peaceful as hoped. Terrorists had killed in Nairobi and the year was fraught with incidents. Even in Australia, "The Lucky Country", the world scene was brought home by events - on the 17th December, 1980, Sydney Turkish Consul General Sank Ariyak and his security attache Engin Sever were assassinated by two people on motor cycles wielding firearms in Sydney.
