The joy of building!

Australian tax payers fund the ongoing costs of our federal and state parliaments. Politicians and personnel not least!

In 1978 Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser, had introduced the question of a new Federal Parliament House in Canberra. In 1980 he announced the choice of a design. New York based architects Mitchell/Giurgoh and Thorp won the choice. The taxpayer cost involved was of great concern.
