Trouble in the house...

President of United States Richard Nixon tried to squash the Watergate Scandal and avoid impeachment. His efforts were not only effecting him and the Republican Party but also the processes of American Democracy.

On 1st and 2nd May German Chancellor Willy Brandt had travelled to the United States to meet Richard Nixon.
