What's in a name?

After the defeat of all opposition by the Labor Party in 1972 the Country Party, lead by Doug Anthony went through a search for a relevant name change as it's support in rural areas declined. The decimated Liberal and Country Party Coalition had to search for new meaning relevant to the Australian people. Anthony was instrumental in the renaming of his party as the National Country Party.
