Trying to move on!

People were gradually, and optimistically, putting their lives together again following the Black Tuesday Fires on 7th February, 1967 in Tasmania. The devastation of the fires left 62 people dead, 900 injured and thousands of people homeless.

This cartoon was published in the Saturday Evening Mercury, Tasmania, so before the use of the Hook. That said, if you look carefully, you will find Jeff's three sons can be found along with the usual tin of rhubarb.
