Trouble on the tracks!The 1966 Australian Rules Football Grand Final. Collingwood (The Magpies) were lined up to play St. Kilda (The Saints) on the following Saturday. Finals fever had hit Melbourne as fans prepared to go to the MCG home of the Grand Final. At that time trains ran from St. Kilda to the city (now trams line only). St Kilda was victorious 10/14 (74) to Collingwood's 10/13 (73). |
