MBE's for the Beatles.

The Beatles - John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr (born Richard Starkey) and George Harrison - were were awarded a MBEs (Member of the Order of the British Empire) by Queen Elizabeth II. Australian fans were equally willing - shall we say desperate - to have them in prominent positions in Australia!
