Legendary Test cricketer and Broadcaster Richie Benaud has died, aged 84, on the morning of April 10 after a battle with skin cancer.

Richie Benaud was an exemplary in all the phases of cricket in which he took part. He was responsible for the promotion of our national game around the world as well as in Australia. His distinctive voice in his broadcasts graced all our summers and those of the Northern Hemisphere from his retirement from Test cricket in 1964 until 2005. His death is mourned by Cricket fans world wide.
