The burden of independence.

After weeks of media speculation Tasmanian Senator Jacqui Lambie announced this morning that she was leaving the PUP Party to take her place as an Independent Senator in the Upper House. She cited the reason to be differences that appeared to be irreconcilable with the aims and objectives of the PUP Party and it's leader MP Clive Palmer.
