Much publicity has been given to the re-floating of the ill-fated Costa Concordia which foundered in 2012 off the Italian island of Giglio. Thirty two people died.

Newly elected Liberal Prime Minister Tony Abbott promised in his acceptance speech that Australia is 'open for business'. The nation has many billion dollars of debt and much business has been stagnating.
