Things I wish I hadn't said.

The Federal Government lead by Prime Minister Julia Gillard supported by Green Party and Independent votes achieved the passing of the Carbon Tax Bill through the House of Representatives. Affirmative 74 votes to negative 72. Success in the Senate is assured with the Green Party vote led by Senator Bob Brown which has promised not to block the bill as they did with the previous emissions trading initiative.
