A job to do!

Volunteers are often the unsung heroes at many major events such as The Olympic Games and various championships. They meet, greet, direct and look after many participants and spectators and do all kinds of jobs to make the events run smoothly. The 12th FINA (Federation Internationale de la Natation) Swimming Championships are to be held in Melbourne Australia commencing on March 17. At the same time drought has caused one of the severest water shortages in the country's history.

For non-Melbournians, one of the current restrictions is that swimming pools can only be topped up with buckets, not hoses!
