Peace!

Labor Prime Minister Paul Keating and Liberal Opposition Leader John Howard endure the battles in domestic politics in Australia. At the same time 50 year commemorations were held to celebrate Peace in the Pacific War. Cessation of hostilities was declared on August 15th, 1945.
