It was Easter Monday when the world famous 'Stawell Gift' - 120 metre foot race - is always held in the town of Stawell. Victoria. The town's population of over 6000 swells considerably.

Meanwhile, Victoria's State Opposition Leader Alan Brown works to prevent the sale of the State Insurance Office SIO by the Victorian Labor Party headed by Premier Joan Kirner.
