Think life is passing you by?

On November 14th, 1988 heir to the British Throne HRH Prince Charles celebrated his fortieth birthday. Australian Treasurer Paul Keating was conjectured to have his eye on the Prime Ministership of Australia.

In fact, not long after this cartoon, on 25th November, 1988 a deal was made at Kirribilli House that Paul Keating would succeed Prime Minister Bob Hawke as Prime Minister.
