A Picnic at Hanging Rock.

The author of 'Picnic at Hanging Rock' Joan Lindsay publishes the final chapter to her book, as Federal Opposition Leader John Howard and Coalition partner Ian Sinclair try to do a deal with the Queensland Premier Joh Bjelke-Petersen who had revealed aspirations to become Prime Minister. Treasurer Paul Keating and Prime Minister Bob Hawke await the outcome.

It is worth noting that Joh Bjelke-Petersen was also regarded as a bit old fashioned!
