Looking for inspiration.A month after his election on 11th March, 1983, the government of Labor Prime Minister Bob Hawke held a National Economic Summit in Canberra from 11-14th April, 1983. Leaders from politics,business and unions gathered together to contribute ideas. The Wages Accord with unions stemmed from this meeting and was included in the government's economic policy. |
