A shrinking puddle.

During 1980 - 1983 Australia experienced a period of intense drought. Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser and Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party and Treasurer John Howard faced extra difficulties. Rising inflation, unemployment and tax avoidance schemes took their toll as Cabinet places were reshuffled and another election loomed.
