The Krakouer brothers join North Melbourne.

Phil and Jim Krakouer (pro. Cracker) became known as the 'Krakouer brothers'. In 1982 they had left the successful Claremont team in Western Australia to join North Melbourne in their efforts for a VFL (now AFL) premiership.
