Raids and equal opportunity.

Deborah Wardley was in the process of taking Ansett to the Equal Opportunity Commission - she won, eventually becoming the first woman in Australia to fly for a major commercial Airline in 1980. While many of the conservatives in the air industry may have regarded this as the "end of an era" - at the time the share raids on Ansett hinted to Sir Reginald that another era was soon to come to an end.
