Not arguing!

The Whitlam Government had earlier started inquiries into Income and Security Reform as well as Income Tax. Meanwhile, the Crude Oil Excise introduced in August 1975 was ratified with oil sourced from discoveries made prior to 18th September 1975 to be taxed at a higher rate than "new oil" from reserves discovered after that date.
