Concorde arrives.

It was 1969 when the supersonic Concorde first took to the skies and in 1972 a round-the world promotion trip, which included Australia, took place. At the time Concorde was seen as the future of fast intraplanetary transport, although there were concerns about the environmental affect of the supersonic boom it created.
