Hurrah!

The Upper Yarra Dam is one of the main water storages for the city of Melbourne. In 1968 following a long drought the dam was finally full and Premier of Victoria Sir Henry Bolte rejoiced with the Melbourne Metropolitan Board of Works which was responsible for managing the Melbourne water supplies.
