A voice in the wilderness...In the drought ridden year of 1967 Liberal Prime Minister Harold Holt and Labor Opposition Leader Gough Whitlam were pre-occupied with many issues, such as the Liberal use of VIP flights, and were to hold rival finance meetings to deal with the various projects. Meantime the population was desperate for water and a water management plan. |
